Between battles:
Well, if you ever find a key of some sort, you can go to a dojo at any
time with the key in Ash's hand, leave, and the dojomaster will ask if
you want to go under a trial. Hope you save first. If so, go in it. I
know what you are thinking now... "YE ****ING GODS, WHAT THE ****
DID I JUST DO" or something. :) Some people suggest waiting until
you have an entire party complete.. others prefer to wait until Eleni
and Zohar get PhaseShift. I prefer to start doing the trials after I receive
Dolan, Sara, and Amon. I always feel like I get more XP for doing it this
way. Just make sure you do all of the trials except the heaven one before
you receive Vandal Heart, mainly because you need to turn in all of the
prisms to get the heaven key. The heaven prism
is required for Ash to promote to Vandalier.
Welcome to the first trial. Trials are ALWAYS hard and ALWAYS at Ash's
level. Well, you are lucky though... this battle is the second easiest
one.
Trial 1 - Trial by Nova
Reward for all dead: 140 (!) Gold. Yep, 10 gold per enemy - the absolute
minimum.
Item Data:
One Chest. If you can't see it, you are blind.

Clint (Level 10, Guardsman)
Eleni (Level 10, Sorcerer)
Huxley (Level 11, Bishop)
Kira (Level 11, Hawknight)

Sara (Level 10, Monk)
Amon (Level 10, Bowman)
Enemies (the sign that you are in a trial is by the amount of enemies...):
4x Buccaners (Soldier class, Ash's Level (11 in my case))
2x DarkGolems (Dragoon class, Ash's Level)
4x HunterImps (Archer class, Ash's Level)
2x War Ghosts (Flier class, Ash's Level)
2x Sparkies (Flier class, Ash's Level)
Summary: 4x Soldier, 4x Flier, 4x Archer, 2x Dragoon. Easy.
Well.. as a general strategy, make sure you get the chest, then kill everything
in sight. This isn't a hard battle, and you shouldn't lose anyone on this
one (the REST of them, however, yeah, prepare to lose a couple).
No, I'm not telling you what I did this time. It is useless because unless
you have the EXACT same levels (especially Ash) and party as me, and did
it at the same time as me, you won't have a similar battle.
